Ingredients

  • 1 package Cocktail Smokies
  • 1-2 packages Pillsbury Crescent Dough
  • 11 oz Palmetto Cheese - Original, Jalapeno, Pepper Jack or Bacon

Palmetto Cheese Franks in a Blanket

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F
  2. Remove crescent dough from the package and unroll.
  3. Slice each crescent section in half so you get two similar sized pieces.
  4. Separate the two pieces of dough. Place 1 teaspoon of Palmetto Cheese in the middle of each piece of dough.
  5. Place a smokie on top of the Palmetto Cheese. Pull the one side of the dough over the smokie. Fold the other side over top of the smokie. Dough will stretch easily so make sure you create a nice pouch for your smokie/PC.
  6. Seal edges of the dough. Place dough on ungreased baking sheet.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
