Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F
- Open the can of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and unroll the dough onto a greased sheet pan. We used a silicone baking mat. Remove two slices of the dough and place one slice towards the top of the cane. Slice dough with a knife to form the shape of the candy cane.
- Cut the remaining dough into strips and create a thin border around the outside edge of the cane. After this is completed, place into the oven for 10 minutes.
- After the cane is fully cooked and golden brown cover the cane with Palmetto Cheese, leaving all covered with cheese except the border.
- Place the pre-cooked bacon on top of the Palmetto Cheese and cut slices to fit into the smaller areas. Bake an additional 5 minutes to melt the pimento cheese. Pull from the oven and place on a serving tray. Garnish with rosemary. Just slice and serve! You can make the cane ahead of time and right before you’re ready to serve, cover it in Palmetto Cheese and bake.
