Slow Cooker Cuban Sliders
Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds boneless pork shoulder or pork loin
- 1 cup Mojo marinade, such as Goya brand
- 12 crusty bread dinner rolls or slider buns
- 1/4 cup yellow mustard
- 12 pickle slices
- 12 slices deli ham
- 11 oz. Pepper Jack Palmetto Cheese
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
- Place pork and marinade into a crockpot set at high heat. Cook on high heat for 1 hour, reduce heat to low and cook for 3 to 4 more hours. Shred pork and place back into crockpot to keep warm.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cut each dinner roll in half and spread the mustard onto the bottom of each bun.
- Add a pickle, shredded pork, and ham to each.
- Spread pimento cheese onto top half of each bun and place onto ham.
- In a small bowl combine butter, garlic powder, and parsley.
- Place sandwiches onto a sheet pan and brush each with prepared garlic butter.
- Cover pan in foil and bake 15 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melty.
