Snowman Cheese Ball
Ingredients
- 11 oz Pepper Jack Palmetto Cheese
- 6 oz Shredded Parmesan
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
- Pretzel sticks
- 1 carrot
- Black peppercorns
Instructions
- Reserve 1/2 cup of shredded Parmesan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine Palmetto Cheese, cream cheese and the remaining Parmesan. Mix by hand or with a hand mixer.
- Cover and put the bowl in the freezer for an hour or chill in the refrigerator overnight.
- Form the chilled cheese mixture into two balls with one ball being larger than the other.
- Roll each ball into the shredded Parmesan until covered.
- Place the large ball onto a serving dish.
- Place a pretzel stick vertically into the center of the large ball. This will help give a little support to the next ball that you should now stack on top of the large one.
- Add two peppercorns for the eyes on the top ball.
- Peel a carrot and cut about an inch from the tip. This will be the nose.
- Shove the nose under the eyes and add four peppercorns under that for the mouth.
- One pretzel stick on each side of his body will give him arms.
- To make the scarf, peel two long strips off of your carrot making them as long as possible.
- Fold the one strip in half and slice the ends to form the frills of the scarf.
- Keep folded and lightly press onto the snowman's neck. Wrap the remaining strip around his neck. If you can't go the whole way around, just peel another strip.
- Chill for at least an hour before serving.
- Serve with your favorite crackers.
